Visit an Alpaca Farm

November 5 & 6, 2011
11 am to 4 pm

Come to the Farm! On Novemer 5 and 6, five WNC alpaca farms will gather at Last Penny Farm to introduce visitors to alpacas. The public is invited to come meet our alpacas and learn more about these inquisitive, interesting animals. Knowledgeable and experienced alpaca farmers will be on hand to answer questions and showcase their beautiful friendly alpacas.

The Farmstore is fully stocked with a wide variety of lovely products made from naturally luxurious alpaca fiber. Whether shopping for your own personal pleasure, looking for gifts for that special someone, or "just looking", you will enjoy seeing our yarns, roving and batts, and knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, socks and household goods from all 5 farms. Many items produced from the fiber of our own flocks and processed, knitted or crocheted by hand - truly special and unique.

An educational presentation of fiber processing "From Field to Fashion" will include demonstrations of spinning and fiber crafts.

Last Penny Farm is located in Weaverville and will be welcoming guests on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. Look for the Alpaca Farm signs.

Fun for the whole family... And best of all, it's all FREE!

Please join us for fun day on the farm!
